Every year, Better Tree Care creates a seasonal ornament from remaining wood from pruned or cut trees. The ornament is hand-turned on a lathe in Devin’s workshop! The design is hand-selected depending on the type of wood that remains.

For 2024—the design is a penguin made from black walnut and oak. The feathers for the wings were collected from our chickens. The final finish is a handmade beeswax coconut oil finish.
